By placing an order, paying a deposit, or settling a final invoice with Pressing Miss Daisy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions as they exist at the time of payment.
Pressing Miss Daisy creates bespoke floral artwork using real, natural flowers preserved through pressing and/or silica-drying techniques and professionally framed as decorative keepsakes.
As flowers are organic materials, natural variations in colour, texture, shape, and final appearance are inherent and form part of the character of each unique piece.
Pressing Miss Daisy strives to follow industry best practices for the preservation, handling, and framing of botanical artwork. However, no preservation method can halt natural ageing entirely.
Over time (often many years), preserved flowers may gently evolve. This may include:
These changes are normal, expected characteristics of preserved floral artwork and do not indicate a defect in workmanship.
Exact colour retention cannot be guaranteed.
In particular, white and pale flowers may naturally transition to ivory, cream, or warmer tones, and certain pigments may fade or darken over time as part of the natural preservation and ageing process.
Pressed and silica-dried flowers are extremely delicate.
Fine petal fibres, botanical dust, or small particles may be visible within framed pieces, even after careful preparation and framing. This is a normal characteristic of preserved botanical materials and does not affect the longevity or integrity of the artwork.
All artwork is framed using professional methods and materials appropriate for preserved botanicals. Due to the fragile nature of dried flowers, complete elimination of internal dust or movement is not always possible.
Frames should remain sealed once completed.
The longevity of preserved floral artwork is strongly influenced by display conditions.
Clients are responsible for ensuring artwork is:
Any fading, deterioration, or damage caused by environmental exposure or improper handling is not the responsibility of Pressing Miss Daisy.
Preserved floral artwork is intended to be a long-lasting keepsake rather than a permanent, unchanging object.
While many pieces may be cherished for decades and passed down through generations, natural ageing is inevitable and forms part of the artwork’s heirloom character.
While Pressing Miss Daisy strives to follow industry best practices for botanical preservation, we do not guarantee:
These natural changes do not indicate a defect in workmanship.
Clients are responsible for ensuring flowers arrive in suitable condition for preservation. Pressing Miss Daisy is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wilting, bruising, mould, pests, or deterioration occurring prior to receipt.
If flowers arrive in an unworkable condition due to mould, pests, severe deterioration, or other unsuitability, Pressing Miss Daisy reserves the right to decline preservation. The client will be notified and may arrange collection within a reasonable timeframe. Flowers not collected may be responsibly discarded.
All preservation work using client-supplied flowers is undertaken at the client’s risk due to the unpredictable nature of organic materials.
Pressing Miss Daisy reserves the right to select flowers for inclusion based on considerations such as thickness, condition, and available space within the frame.
If there are insufficient suitable flowers to complete the requested size or design, the client will be notified and the final invoice adjusted accordingly.
Wires, pins, ribbons, charms, or other non-floral attachments supplied with a bouquet will not be included in the final artwork unless explicitly agreed in writing prior to preservation.
Any timelines provided are estimates only. Preservation and framing timeframes may vary depending on flower types, drying conditions, seasonal demand, and third-party service providers.
Pressing Miss Daisy is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control.
Deposits secure a dedicated preservation slot within our studio schedule. As we work with limited capacity and reserve time specifically for each booking, deposits are non-refundable once paid.
Deposits are credited toward the final invoice for completed artwork.
Orders will not be released or shipped until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
Clients are responsible for arranging collection of their completed artwork from Pressing Miss Daisy.
Where Pressing Miss Daisy assists with organising courier delivery as a courtesy, this is done on the client’s behalf. While every effort is made to package artwork carefully, Pressing Miss Daisy cannot control handling during transit by third-party couriers.
The client accepts all risk associated with transit once artwork leaves our premises. Pressing Miss Daisy is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during shipping or third-party handling.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (Version 2.0), which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Where a refund is issued, it is strictly limited to the amount paid to Pressing Miss Daisy for the applicable service.
Pressing Miss Daisy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to sentimental value, emotional distress, or any value attributed to the flowers beyond the service fee paid.
Pressing Miss Daisy may photograph completed artwork for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes. No personal names or identifying details will be shared without consent.
Clients may request in writing that their artwork not be used for promotional purposes.
Pressing Miss Daisy shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, supply disruptions, courier delays, or acts of nature.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to each project are those in effect at the time the client’s deposit is paid.
Updated versions apply only to new bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

Pressing Miss Daisy creates bespoke floral artwork using real, natural flowers. Due to the delicate, organic, and irreversible nature of floral preservation, refunds are handled carefully, fairly, and in line with the circumstances outlined below.
Deposits secure a dedicated preservation slot within our studio schedule. Because we work with limited capacity and reserve time specifically for each booking, deposits are non-refundable once paid.
Deposits are credited toward the final invoice for completed artwork.
Exception:
If preservation cannot proceed because flowers arrive in an unworkable condition (as determined upon receipt), Pressing Miss Daisy will issue a refund of the full amount paid to Pressing Miss Daisy, including the deposit.
If flowers arrive in an unworkable condition for preservation due to mould, pests/bugs, severe deterioration, or other unsuitability, Pressing Miss Daisy reserves the right to decline preservation.
In such cases:
Refunds, where applicable, are handled in accordance with Section 1 above.
Orders may be cancelled and refunded in full (including any deposit paid) only if the cancellation request is received before any preservation work has commenced.
Once preservation work has begun, refunds are not available due to the bespoke and irreversible nature of the process.
Clients are responsible for arranging collection of their completed artwork from Pressing Miss Daisy.
Where Pressing Miss Daisy assists with organising courier delivery as a courtesy, this is done on the client’s behalf. While every effort is made to package artwork carefully and appropriately, Pressing Miss Daisy cannot control handling during transit by third-party couriers or service providers.
If delivery is arranged via courier:
If damage occurs in transit, the client must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of the packaging and artwork so that we may assist, where possible, with courier claims or enquiries. However, any such assistance does not constitute acceptance of liability.
Pressing Miss Daisy’s liability for transit-related issues is excluded, and no compensation or refunds will be issued for damage occurring during courier transport.
If an order does not arrive due to issues in transit or delivery, the client must contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate the matter with the relevant service provider.
If non-delivery is confirmed, a refund of the original amount paid to Pressing Miss Daisy will be issued.
We take pride in the quality of our work.
If you believe there is a genuine workmanship issue (for example, a significant assembly fault, incorrect frame supplied, or damage attributable to our handling), please contact us within 7 days of receiving the artwork, providing clear photographic evidence.
If a workmanship issue is confirmed (excluding natural variation and ageing), Pressing Miss Daisy may, at its discretion, offer an appropriate remedy, which may include an adjustment, repair, or partial refund.
Preserved floral artwork is created using real, organic materials and is subject to natural variation and ageing.
Refunds will not be issued for:
